Equinox started in January 2005 when three delinquents from the Netherhall sixth form started jamming together.
They were (and still are) called Felix Morgan (guitar/vocals), Ben Nunn (bass/vocals) and Mark Thompson (drums). They instantly clicked and within a few weeks had an album's worth of songs. Influenced heavily by bands such as Green Day, Oasis, Led Zeppelin and other bands such as Television, they create a unique sound combining their many different idols and are easily recognisable.
Having gigged at many of the major pub venues in Cambridge, they continue to play around the circuit and now intend to explore places further afield. They are currently recording their debut album 'Friday's Gone' and hope to have it released sometime later this year.
